Terms & Conditions

1. Anonymous reviews

All employee reviews are collected anonymously. WorstWorkplace does not sell, disclose, or resell individual respondent data. Reviewers must be current or former employees and must authenticate with a verifiable company email address.

2. Certification methodology

Certificates are issued algorithmically from aggregated anonymous scores. "Good Place to Work" is awarded when the overall score is at or above 75%. Below 75% results in a "Worst Workplace to Work" designation. WorstWorkplace reserves the right to review, revoke, or re-issue any certificate.

3. Validity

  • Good Place to Work certificates are valid for one (1) year from the issuance date.
  • Worst Workplace to Work certificates remain visible until superseded by a newer aggregate score from additional verified employee reviews.
  • WorstWorkplace may revoke any certificate at any time if fraud, coercion, or manipulation of results is suspected.

4. Badge claim & licensing

Only "Good Place to Work" certificates may be displayed on a company's own website, social profiles, or marketing collateral, and only after the certificate has been claimed by an authorised employer representative and the claim fee has been paid in full. Upon approval, WorstWorkplace grants a non-exclusive, non-transferable, royalty-free licence to display the badge and certificate number for the duration of the certificate's validity, subject to these terms.

Any use of the WorstWorkplace mark, badge, or certificate outside of this licence — including modification of the badge artwork, false representation of validity, or use after expiry — is a material breach and permits WorstWorkplace to revoke the badge and pursue legal remedies.

5. Fees & refunds

Claim fees are one-time charges shown at checkout. Because the certificate is issued and license granted immediately upon approval, all sales are final except where required by applicable consumer law. Refund requests for claims still in "pending review" status will be honoured within 14 days.

6. Misrepresentation

Employers may not misrepresent, alter, or fabricate certificates or scores. Doing so is grounds for immediate revocation, public notice on the organisation's profile page, and, where applicable, legal action.

7. Verified employees

Employees submitting reviews warrant that they are employed by, or have been employed by, the organisation named in their submission. WorstWorkplace may reject submissions where the sign-in email domain does not match the organisation's registered domain.

8. Limitation of liability

WorstWorkplace provides certifications on an "as-is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, WorstWorkplace's aggregate liability shall not exceed the fees paid by the organisation in the preceding twelve months.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's principal place of business. Any disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
