The full process, end to end

From honest input to certified public badge.

Six deterministic steps. No editorial judgment, no pay-to-play — anonymous employee input, a public formula, and a QR-verifiable certificate anyone can check.

The six steps

Deterministic, transparent, verifiable.

The same process runs every certificate — no shortcuts, no editorial curation.

01
Find or add your workplace

Search the public directory. If your organization isn't listed, add it in seconds — no signup, no email required. Admin approves new organizations within 24 hours.

02
Rate 15 categories

Ratings, yes/no checks, and multiple-choice questions across leadership, culture, pay, workload, psychological safety, growth, DEI, and more. Takes about 3 minutes.

03
Verify with a work email

A one-time domain match (name@acme.com for Acme) proves you actually work there. We hash the email for deduplication and never publish or sell it.

04
Score is computed live

Overall score is the mean of all 15 ratings, converted to a 0–100% satisfaction figure. The math is deterministic and public on the methodology page.

05
Verdict issued

Score ≥ 75% earns a Good Place to Work certificate. Below 75% earns a Worst Workplace to Work certificate. Both are equally valid, permanent, and certified.

06
Certificate goes public

Every verdict issues a unique certificate number, QR code, verification URL, and organization profile with category breakdowns and trend charts.

Trust controls

What makes a badge trustworthy.

Four independent controls make certificates hard to fake and easy to verify.

Domain verification

Only work-email addresses matching the organization's domain can submit. Personal emails are rejected before they touch the database.

Sample floor

Certificates only issue after a minimum of 3 verified employee submissions — no single voice can decide a verdict.

Fingerprint dedup

A one-way hashed IP fingerprint blocks the same reviewer from stuffing multiple submissions.

Public verification

Every certificate carries a QR code and a public /verify page returning the score, sample size, issue date, and status.
